Order Tracking for Installers

Order Tracking: What Installers and Clients Can Expect

Ordering custom cabinetry requires accuracy, coordination, and clear communication. R2Ro’s order tracking process is designed to keep installers and homeowners informed at every stage, from order submission through delivery.

This guide explains how orders move through the system and what to expect at each step.

Order Submission and Drawing Creation

Once an order is submitted through the website, it is formally received and entered into the system. At this stage, the drawing fee is processed, you will receive a drawing questionnaire and cabinet drawings are placed in progress.

A confirmation email is sent indicating that drawings are underway.

Drawings are typically completed within one to two business days and are based entirely on the dimensions and information submitted with the order.

Before moving forward, installers should review their account details and shipping information to ensure everything is accurate. Any discrepancies at this stage can delay the process.

Drawing Review and Approval

When the cabinet drawings are complete, an email notification is sent requesting review and approval. This step is critical. Installers are responsible for reviewing all dimensions, cabinet configurations, materials, finishes, door layouts, and appliance clearances. If changes are required, they must be requested before approval is given.

Once drawings are approved, the order becomes locked. Cabinets will be manufactured exactly as shown in the approved drawings, and no further changes can be made after this point.

Deposit and Order Release

After drawings are approved, a 50 percent deposit invoice is issued. The order is not released to production until the deposit is paid in full. This stage represents the final opportunity to make adjustments. Once payment is received, responsibility for measurements and specifications is confirmed, and the order moves forward as approved.

If a deposit payment attempt fails, automated reminders are sent. Orders remain on hold until payment is successfully processed. Orders that remain unpaid beyond the required timeframe are cancelled and must be resubmitted to proceed.

Manufacturing and Status Updates

Once the deposit is received, the order enters the manufacturing queue. Production typically begins within one to three business days, with an estimated delivery timeline of ten to fifteen business days. Throughout manufacturing, automated email and SMS updates are sent to keep all parties informed as the order progresses.

These updates include notifications when manufacturing starts, when cabinets are fully built, and when the order is awaiting pickup for delivery.

Delivery Process

When the order is ready for delivery, a notification is sent confirming that cabinets are out for delivery. A delivery window is provided by the delivery company, and someone must be available at the delivery address to receive the order.

Delivery is job-site delivery by default. Cabinets are delivered pre-assembled, palletized, and brought into the home by the delivery team. No special unloading equipment is required.

Order Completion and Support

Once cabinets are delivered, a final confirmation message is sent. Installation resources become available, and the project is ready to move into installation. If any issues arise, support tickets can be submitted through the R2Ro support system. Installers are encouraged to report any concerns promptly to ensure timely resolution.

Installer Responsibilities

Installers are responsible for providing final measurements, reviewing and approving drawings, and ensuring accuracy before production begins. Changes are permitted only during the drawing phase. Once drawings are approved and the deposit is paid, custom orders are non-refundable and manufactured exactly to the approved specifications.

Consumer Order Tracking Summary

Ordering custom cabinets is a step-by-step process designed to ensure accuracy and quality.

Here’s a simple overview of what happens after a quote moves forward:

  • Drawings are created based on installer-provided measurements
  • Drawings are reviewed and approved before anything is built
  • A deposit is required to begin manufacturing
  • Cabinets are custom built to the approved designs
  • Delivery occurs in approximately 10–15 business days
  • Cabinets arrive fully assembled and ready for installation

Throughout the process, you’ll receive email and text updates so you always know the status of your order.

Because cabinets are custom made, accuracy during the drawing phase is critical. Final measurements and approvals are handled by your installer to ensure proper fit.
